HOCl is known to be more effective and safer than alcohol. It is also effective against bacteria, fungi, and enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. While we have not conducted norovirus (non-enveloped virus) efficacy testing using our FDA-cleared solution, adenovirus is a comparable non-enveloped virus.
